What is e-fuels·com

e-fuels·com is the market infrastructure layer the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry is missing. The SAF market is growing at speed — driven by ReFuelEU, CORSIA, and the IRA — but it lacks the data infrastructure, deal flow connectivity, and trading rails that mature commodity markets take for granted.

The platform bridges that gap across four integrated modules: Market Intelligence (price data, project tracking, regulatory monitoring), SAF Trading (spot, forward, and certificate trading), Deal Room (long-term offtake and project finance), and Network Intelligence (pipeline, portfolio, and relationship management).

Real Data
Daily feedstock price benchmarks, verified plant registrations, and regulatory tracking across ReFuelEU, CORSIA, IRA, LCFS, UK SAF Mandate, and ICAO SARPs.
Verified Network
Every counterparty on the platform — producer, buyer, or investor — is manually verified. No anonymous profiles. Built for institutional-grade due diligence.
Structured Deal Flow
Long-term offtake agreements, project finance, and bilateral deals in a secure environment built for the complexity of structured energy transactions.
Investor-Ready Intelligence
Pre-FID project deal flow, operational asset data, and regulatory timeline tracking — structured for investment committee presentation and LP reporting.
Why now: The SAF market must scale 100× by 2050 to meet aviation's net-zero commitments. ReFuelEU requires 6% SAF at EU airports by 2030 — yet confirmed production capacity covers less than 20% of that target today. e-fuels·com exists to accelerate the capital deployment and deal velocity needed to close that gap.

Market Intelligence

The Market Intelligence page is the public data layer — a continuously updated overview of the global SAF market across three pillars: price data, project tracking, and regulatory intelligence. The professional SAF Terminal (access-gated) provides the full interactive version of this data.

SAF Price Indices
Daily and weekly benchmarks for all major production pathways — PtL, HEFA, ATJ, FT — aggregated from global trading activity. Displayed in USD/t with currency conversion.
Global Project Tracker
56 production facilities across 22 countries — HEFA, PtL, ATJ, FT and blending. Each entry shows capacity, status, route, certifications, and verified sources.
Regulatory Monitor
ReFuelEU, CORSIA, IRA, UK SAF Mandate, LCFS, and ICAO SARPs — mandate levels, compliance deadlines, penalty structures, and legislative status.
SAF News Feed
Curated key developments shaping the SAF landscape — policy updates, project announcements, offtake deals, and technology milestones, updated monthly.
Go deeper with the SAF Terminal: The Market Intelligence page shows public-tier data. The full interactive SAF Terminal provides live feedstock prices with unit conversion, sortable plant database, regulatory countdown timers, signal bar, and FX conversion — access-gated for network members.
06

Deal Room

The Deal Room is the secure environment where SAF transactions get structured and closed. Unlike public marketplaces, it is access-controlled and manually verified — designed for the complexity of long-term offtake contracts (typically 5–20 year terms) and project finance rounds (typically €50M–€500M).

1
Verified access only
All Deal Room participants are manually verified before access. Producers confirm production capacity and certifications. Buyers confirm volumes and compliance obligations. Investors confirm fund mandate and AUM.
2
Structured deal setup
Deals are initiated with a structured term sheet covering: volume commitment, price formula (fixed / index-linked / hybrid), delivery schedule, sustainability certification framework, and termination conditions.
3
Negotiation environment
Secure document sharing, version-tracked term sheet negotiation, and encrypted communication — all within the platform. No emails with uncontrolled document versions.
4
Close and track
Executed deals are tracked through the Network Intelligence module — delivery milestones, certification status, and payment schedules all in one dashboard.
Early access: Deal Room is available to founding network members during the platform's early access phase. Contact us to discuss access for your organisation.
07

SAF Trading

The SAF Trading module is the structured exchange for physical SAF volumes and sustainability certificates — spot, forward, and book-and-claim, in one place.

Spot Trading
Immediate delivery SAF volumes matched anonymously across verified counterparties. Price formation based on live platform orderbook — not OTC negotiation.
Forward Contracts
Structured forward agreements for future delivery — typically 3–24 months. Supports both fixed-price and index-linked terms with the platform's feedstock price benchmarks as reference.
Book-and-Claim
Sustainability attribute certificates traded separately from physical fuel. Airlines purchase certificates to meet CORSIA and ReFuelEU obligations without physical delivery constraints.
Compliance Built-In
Every trade automatically generates the CORSIA and ReFuelEU compliance documentation. No post-trade paperwork overhead for regulatory reporting.
Launch timeline: SAF Trading is in development. Founding network members will have priority access at launch. The Market Intelligence module (including the SAF Terminal) is live now.
08

For Investors

The Investor page presents structured SAF deal flow for fund managers, infrastructure investors, and project finance teams. The SAF sector offers a rare combination: regulatory mandate driving demand, persistent supply gap, and long-term contracted cashflows.

Pre-FID Deal Flow
Direct access to the founding producer network's capital raise pipeline — projects seeking equity, debt, or hybrid instruments. Structured information packages, not cold outreach.
Operational Assets
Running plant data — production capacity, pathway, certifications, and offtake status. Relevant for infrastructure funds acquiring operating SAF assets or secondary stakes.
Production Economics
Live feedstock price data, HEFA production cost modelling, and HEFA-vs-Jet-A premium tracking — the key variables for financial modelling and underwriting SAF projects.
Regulatory Incentive Tracking
IRA tax credits (45Z), EU state aid, UK SAF Mandate blending obligations — regulatory tailwinds modelled alongside production cost economics for full IRR context.
The investment thesis in three numbers: The EU alone needs ~5.5 Mt of SAF by 2030. Confirmed production capacity today covers ~1.1 Mt. The gap is €15–25Bn of capital deployment needed in the next 5 years. e-fuels·com is where that capital connects with verified projects.
09

SAF Terminal

The SAF Terminal is the professional-grade market intelligence interface — a Bloomberg-style dashboard purpose-built for the sustainable aviation fuel market. It is access-gated for verified network members.

5 Specialised Views
Overview, Plants, Feedstock, Regulatory, Analytics — each view expands the relevant module to full width while keeping the detail panel accessible.
Live Data Feeds
Feedstock prices, regulatory countdowns, HEFA production cost estimates, plant status updates, and FX conversion — all updating continuously from the API.
Customisable Layout
Drag panels to rearrange, resize columns, maximize any panel for focus mode. Layout preferences persist across sessions via localStorage.
Light & Dark Mode
Toggle between deep-dark terminal mode (default) and a warm light mode for bright environments or presentations. Theme preference saved automatically.
Full documentation: The SAF Terminal has its own detailed guide covering all features — panels, keyboard shortcuts, FX conversion, unit matrix, signal bar, and more. Open Dashboard Guide →

About

The About page describes the mission and founding thesis. e-fuels·com is building the market infrastructure the sustainable fuels industry is missing — the same way Bloomberg built the terminal that matured the bond market, or how Refinitiv structured the FX market.

The company's thesis is that capital velocity is the binding constraint in SAF scale-up — not technology, not feedstock, not regulation. The technology works. The regulation is in place. What the market lacks is the structured connectivity to move capital from investors to projects to offtakers at the speed the regulatory deadlines demand.

Mission
Accelerate the transition to sustainable aviation by building the data, deal flow, and trading infrastructure the SAF market needs to scale.
Approach
Build with the founding network, not ahead of it. Each module is designed alongside real producers, buyers, and investors — solving actual workflow problems, not theoretical ones.
